CanPower Skate

CanPower Skate is only taught in sanctioned Skate Canada clubs. This program stresses balance, power, agility, speed endurance and conditioning for skaters. Badges are earned as different levels are mastered. There are 6 levels in the CanPower Skate program from beginner to advanced.

Hockey skates & gear are required!

Eric Henderson

  • Certified CanPower Skate Coach - 28 years experience
  • Previous Prince George Minor Hockey Coach for 15 years, including teams in PeeWee, Bantam, and Midget "AAA"
  • Certified coach by Hockey Canada "Intermediate Level", including Technical 2, Practical 2, and Theory 1
  • Member of Prince George Minor Hockey Executive for 6 years

 

Frank Skerlak

  • Certified CanPower Skate Coach - 5 years experience
  • Coached in Prince George Minor Hockey for 10 years, including PeeWee, Bantam, and Midget "AAA"
  • Certified coach by Hockey Canada "Intermediate Level", including Technical 2, Practical 2, and Theory 2
  • Played his entire minor hockey in Prince George, including 3 years with the Junior "A" Prince George Spruce Kings
